I enjoyed it, but the DVR cut off the last lap so I didn't know for a while that Prost is a cheating bastard chip off of the old cheating bastard block till later. I think that with creative sound editing and camera work, it can be appealing to a television audience. The urban nature of the circuits may make for a more accessible series than F1. The fan boost shit has got to go.

I thought that watching the cars skitter around under braking/regen was rather interesting as well. I have hopes for the technology side of it to be what brings people into the series.

The car swapping is silly. They need to come up with a quick battery swap solution instead.

Other than that it was fine.

I have many reservations about all the gimmicks they feel they need to use to get people's attention. Especially when all they have to say is that it's the only place you can see Senna and Prost duke it out in open wheel cars.

I liked it!

Granted, I personally can dig spec racing, though I know it's not for everyone.

It was cool watching the cars slide and squirm around when they were at the limit. I also didn't realize they use the same tire regardless of weather conditions. That dry/wet compromise probably had a lot to do with the squirming. Also learned they have transmissions with more than one forward gear which is unique among modern electric vehicles.

Unfortunate last lap, but it was awesome watching Heifeld chase down Prost Jr the laps before it.

I didn't really even mind the car swap. It was neat to see a different take on the traditional "pit stop," the slow (for an open wheel car) speeds didn't bother me either. You could still see they were on the limits.

Not sure if I like the little tykes sounds from the cars, but the are cool looking. I think with a little different producing and some different announcers that it might be something to watch.

It does seem like all of the F1 retreads found a home though. Not sure how I feel about that either.

It wasn't bad but they sound like frightened little pigs.

They were talking about the city track idea at the beginning, and that was what they wanted, an accessible racing series that everyone could get to.
